I like that you had two moves that were very simple and age appropriate for children. The form of the piece is AABB, which means that you will have 16 counts of clapping before you switch to 16 counts of stomping. You alternated between A and B every 8 beats instead of 16. The objective of this exercise is to not only teach movement, but also teach the form of the piece. Each movement has to correlate with each section of the song so students can develop a sense of where the music changes.
